Day 2 of #peruadventure
Left Lima with @peruhop for Paracas, a port town with lots good restaurants (exploring more of the area tomorrow). We had papaya juice, small fresh bananas( almost looked pink inside) and pork belly sandwich for breakfast at a rest stop. Then, to our surprise, we were back in #Colorado!
But not our state, it was the one the Incas used as a place to rest. Lots of good food in Paracas: more ceviche (tacu tacu) and a blue corn pudding (tasted very syrupy). Sunset was spectacular, but we almost missed it as we had to take a nap. Dinner was light with some mussels (when at the ocean... ) and the usual happy hour roasted corn.
We actually ran into 2 Canadians on the bus that we met on the walking tour we took the day before and hung out with them some more.
