“All things bright and beautiful, all creatures great and small, all things wise and wonderful, the Lord God made them all.” —Song by Cecil Frances Alexander & L. Wasson
Springtime gardens, especially tulips, inspire renewed hope and energy. After a seemingly endless winter this year, warm sunny days are much appreciated and kickstart our drive and motivation to freshen things up and spend as much time in the outdoors as possible.
As a novice gardener, I have a hard time knowing where to start, but when there’s a will, there’s a way! Some things I’ve learned by trial and error, while many others I’m still flying by the seat of my pants; luckily I’ve got a mother to lean on for suggestions & Pinterest/internet research for ideas!
Creating a welcoming space not only makes a home feel like your own, but it also instills a sense of pride that we are helping to care for some of God’s beautiful masterpieces. Better yet, if we can accomplish this as a family, we can also pass on a tradition of working together to maintain our home. 💗🏡🌷
