Hey babes. I’m Taylor! I’m 22, recent college graduate, lover of SyFy shows, history, adventure and a huge foodie! Oh yeah, did I mention I’m the owner? Lol
At the end of last year, I decided to create IVE. I named it after 3 women in my life and took a huuuuge keep of faith.
Ever since I’ve been learning along the way!
Starting a business isn’t easy. You’ll fail, get frustrated, may not get sales initially, may go through “droughts”, mess up on your taxes, and so much more. I’ve basically done all of the above + some lol. But that’s all apart of the learning experience!
For someone like myself who’s controlling, impatient, and doesn’t like failing, teaching myself to trust the process was rough and still is. There’s times I wanna quit, times I ask myself what did I get myself into, times I sell a lot and times I don’t sell that much at all. Again, all apart of entrepreneurship. I guess my point of this post was to encourage anyone who has a dream or goal to go for it! Be prepared to fail and make mistakes. Be prepared for some of your closest friends to never bother to support. Be prepared for the judgements and gossip. But DO NOT let that dictate whether or not you should keep going or even start. Things don’t happen over night. It can take YEARS and who knows, you may even switch paths. Stay consistent, have faith and keep those who support you constantly in your corner ✨ - Tay 🖤
