So it was my day off from work I was able to go to TRX I missed being able to do that class  regularly so it was so much fun getting to do it today then I did grit athletic we did an older release it was from when it was grit plyo then I came back and did a second grit athletic then I went to the Roy EOS and did body combat a day of classes at EOS Ogden and Roy and did one weight lift ISO the sitting dip press only got up to 320lbs for 2 set of 10 then a class was starting so I stopped to go to the class I had fun doing all of that and I think it's great endurance training for my Spartan race I'm going to do

スムージーのお店が大人気で驚いた。

静岡にもあるけど、並んでいるのは見たことない気がする…… 田舎は、都会に比べると、やはりまだまだセルフケアに対する情報が少ない😭

わたしは、わたしのような仕事が本当は無くなれば良いと真剣に思う。

大切なのは、やはり自分の身体や心は自分自身でケアをする、管理するってこと。

何故なら、気づきやきっかけを人から与えて貰うことはできるけれど、本当は、自分の事は自分でしか癒せないから。

Here is one of my favorite TRX combo exercises. This combination fatigues my back and biceps to end my workout on a pull day. Never fails me!

The Muscle pump is real after doing 8 to 10 other exercises prior to this.

The TRX is amazing for strengthening your core and stability muscle around the joints. It forces you to be aware of your body mechanics and holding a strong foundation while targeting a specific muscle group.

Quick & easy little video...did a couple miles with kehlani today and enjoyed an evening at the park with friends.  While Lani soaked the dirt & sweat off in the tub I got in a bit of strength training with my #trx training.  Continued 5 reps each for several rounds. Didn’t really count 🙈 but my guess is 8 rounds. 📝Misbelief about posture is a hot topic in the physical rehabilitation world. A large proportion of clinicians were taught and continue to teach the erroneous idea of one single best posture. It’s not always ✅ and ❌.

💁🏽‍♂️In my mind, postural exercises are movements that can help one move in and out of all postural alignments. If we spend more of our day flexed forward, we will likely benefit from doing the opposite and opening up. Does that mean we are fixing our posture? It’s an argument of semantics, but I say no.
.
📚The answer should always be no because pedaling the false narrative of ideal posture can be detrimental. The desire to achieve one singular best resting, sitting or standing posture can lead to self image issues and body awareness focused in all the wrong places. Furthermore, linking said postural aberration to pain has not been substantiated through research. Can we even “fix” posture and how people are shaped?? Not really! Not very well.

📘So does posture matter? Yes of course. No one said walk around and slouch all day. But is slouching dangerous? No. Does positioning matter? Yes. Does form matter? Duh. Especially for heavy lifting. But are we framing it in all the wrong ways for our patients and clients? YES! Please be selective and thoughtful with your words as you explain posture, pain, and this whole conundrum.

#TRXTUESDAY EXERCISE OF THE WEEK.  TRX SIDE PLANK WITH HIP DROP + THREAD THE NEEDLE. 
This is a great challenging exercise that combines 3 in 1. If you feel you've mastered  a side plank on the ground, then give this a go.  Start with just the side plank,  then advance you the hip drop, then introduce all 3! 
HOW TO: • Adjust straps to mid- calf length
• Place feet in the straps
• Stack your elbow your shoulder
• Brace your shoulder + core and lift your hips off the ground. • Lower your hips towards the ground (slight touch), then lift again. • At the top of the rep,  keep your hips up as you pass your arm across your body (thread the needle).
• Reverse the movement. Repeat. 
TIPS:
• Keep your core engaged + elbow stacked before your shoulder.

👆La columna vertebral es una estructura ósea ubicada en la parte posterior del tronco, abarcando desde el cuello hasta el comienzo de la región glútea. Está conformada por una serie de huesos llamados vértebras que se ubican apilados unos sobre otros. Éstos, a lo largo de su trayecto van cambiando su orientación, lo que hace que se originen una serie de curvaturas en la columna conocidas como lordosis y cifosis.
Curvaturas de la columna vertebral
La columna no es recta, a lo largo de su trayecto dibuja tres grandes curvaturas, éstas son:
*Lordosis cervical. Es una curvatura cóncava hacia atrás ubicada en la región cervical.
*Cifosis dorsal. A nivel del tórax, la columna invierte su curvatura que se vuelve cóncava hacia adelante, aumentando la capacidad del tórax.
*Lordosis lumbar. En la parte baja de la espalda la columna nuevamente dibuja una curva cóncava hacia atrás.

La lordosis corresponde a la curvatura normal de la columna en las regiones cervical y lumbar.
Es posible que ante algunas situaciones, como una contractura intensa de los músculos regionales, estas curvas se aplanen ocurriendo lo que se conoce como la rectificación de la lordosis. Ésta es una condición que origina síntomas como el dolor.
En el caso de la lordosis lumbar, además de la rectificación, ésta puede verse acentuada por malas posturas, haciendo que se muestre una curva pronunciada en la parte final de la columna.
La cifosis es la curvatura que normalmente se ubica en la columna dorsal. En ocasiones puede pronunciarse originando una giba o joroba.
Esto puede ocurrir en personas que adoptan malas posturas, al permanecer encorvados hacia adelante. También, pude ser consecuencia de las fracturas aplastamiento de las vértebras dorsales.
La escoliosis es un trastorno en el cual la columna adopta una curvatura anormal en sentido lateral. Pudiendo ser cóncava hacia la derecha o hacia la izquierda.
